About Corentin
I have to start by admitting something: I've didn't pass a single math exam in high school. I spend a lot of time thinking I would never be good enough to study in the STEM field.
When I finally decided to try engineering, I had to start from scratch, by myself. I would have been incapable to even pass an 8th grade math exam. Months of hard work of self teaching pushed me to develop a methodology driven by a deep understanding of the material, as opposed to simply retaining information.
In this projet of becoming a tutor, I dream to be the person I needed years ago. Someone who, in addition of allowing the student to pass, gives them the motivation to learn. "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

I start by a theoretical approach, using real life examples of each topic. In my opinion, the biggest factor of student's lack of interest in a scientific subject in not knowing how it could ever be useful.
Then, we go through all the important formulas, how to remember them, and apply them in exercices.
Finally, the teachings are strengthened by creating a short summary that the student can use if they forget something; but most importantly, that they can use later when studying for finals.
