About Rachel
I graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in biomedical engineering before starting medical school. Because of this, I am comfortable with most math and science classes and love sharing that knowledge with others. I began tutoring math in 9th grade. This was where I first realized the joy of helping someone understand a concept for the first time after they believed it was too hard. I continued tutoring throughout high school and into undergrad where I had the opportunity to work as a general and organic chemistry TA. I believe anyone can improve their understanding in a subject no matter how difficult it may seem and look forward to the opportunity to assist in the learning process!

Everyone has unique strengths and ways of learning. My goal is to find these and help students understand complex topics in a way that makes sense to them. For tutoring sessions, I encourage students to bring problems or topics they are struggling with so we can work through them together. Then I like to review related problems to solidify concepts beyond the original question. My tutoring topics include: Organic Chemistry General/Inorganic Chemistry Algebra Geometry Precalculus Differential/Integral Calculus Anatomy Physiology
