About Diya
Hi there, my name is Diya Batra, and I am a student at the University of Waterloo pursuing an Honors degree in Mathematics and Business Administration. In my free time, I enjoy reading books on various topics, watching documentaries, and learning about new cultures through travel and food.
One of my passions is teaching, and I have been tutoring students in math for several years now. I love helping others understand complex mathematical concepts and find joy in seeing them succeed. My goal as a tutor is not only to help my students improve their grades, but also to develop a love and appreciation for math.

As an experienced math tutor, I believe that every student has the ability to excel in mathematics with the right guidance and support. I offer customized math lessons that are tailored to meet the specific needs and learning styles of each individual student.
My lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, with a focus on building a solid foundation of mathematical concepts and skills. I believe that understanding the "why" behind math is just as important as knowing the "how," and I strive to make sure that my students have a deep understanding of the underlying principles of each topic.
I utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to ensure that my students are able to learn in a way that works best for them. This may include visual aids, hands-on activities, real-world examples, and technology-based tools. I also believe that practice and repetition are key components of mastering math, so I assign homework and provide regular assessments to help my students reinforce what they've learned and track their progress.
