My teaching approach is centred around understanding each student as an individual. I begin by assessing what the student already knows, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement, and then building their understanding from the fundamentals upward. Rather than giving answers or formulas immediately, I guide students through carefully chosen questions, encouraging them to think independently and discover concepts for themselves. This develops confidence, deeper understanding, and long-term retention.
I strongly believe that even the most complex topics are best mastered through a solid grasp of the basics, and I consistently use this principle throughout my lessons.
I have over three years of tutoring experience, primarily with GCSE students, and have also supported A-Level learning through tutoring my own brother. My teaching has led to improvements in academic performance, including students who progressed from Set 3 Maths to the top of Set 1, improving by 3 grades and offers from top universities.
I offer one-to-one tutoring for 1–2 hours per week, tailored to each student’s needs, covering levels from 11+ through to A-Level. My aim is not only to improve results, but to help students become confident, independent learners who enjoy the subject.
