About Prabha
Hello! My name is Prabha. I have been working as a Special Education Paraeducator at a middle school in Bothell, Washington, for the past five years. I specialize in teaching Math from the beginner level through Algebra 1, and I also tutor English and Science up to Grade 6. I have enjoyed tutoring children since a young age and truly believe it is one of the most rewarding jobs. Over the years, I have gained experience using a variety of scaffolding techniques to help students understand concepts at their own pace. I am very patient when working with kids and take time to understand why a student may be struggling so I can support their learning with care and build their confidence. I always encourage students to open up, ask questions, and take an active role in their learning. I am known as a dependable and supportive staff member for the students I work with, and I am passionate about helping every child feel successful. Outside of work, I enjoy solving puzzles, playing Sudoku, spending time with my family, and playing board games. I look forward to supporting and guiding students on their learning journey!
