About Sumandeep
Hello! I am a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in primary school education. Before transitioning to online tutoring, I worked as a professional primary science teacher in India. During my time in the classroom, I successfully taught young learners from diverse backgrounds, helping them build a strong foundation in scientific concepts.
Teaching primary students is my true calling. I understand that young children learn differently than adults—they need curiosity, patience, and engagement. My experience in the Indian schooling system taught me how to manage different learning paces and create a supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions.

My Teaching Methodology
I believe that primary science should be explored, not just memorized. As a former primary school teacher from India, I specialize in breaking down complex topics into simple, bite-sized concepts that young minds can easily grasp. I use a combination of colorful visuals, storytelling, everyday real-world examples, and interactive quizzes. This approach keeps children highly engaged and turns abstract ideas into concrete understanding.
Structure of a Typical LessonTo ensure your child stays focused and absorbs the material, I structure my 45 to 60-minute classes into clear, predictable phases:The Warm-Up (5 Mins): A fun recap game or quiz based on our previous topic to build confidence.The Core Discovery (25 Mins): Introduction of the new science concept using interactive slides, diagrams, and real-life analogies.Active Practice (15 Mins): We solve fun puzzles, label diagrams, or complete interactive worksheets together to reinforce the concept.Wrap-Up & Feedback (5 Mins): A quick summary of what we learned and a chance for the student to ask questions.
