About Faris

As a Senior Engineer with a strong analytical and problem-solving background, I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I offer personalized tuition in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Biology for secondary school students, focusing on clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving and a solid understanding of fundamental concepts. My teaching approach is patient, structured and tailored to each student's learning pace, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and overcoming challenges. Whether your child needs help strengthening their basics, improving exam performance or mastering difficult topics, I am committed to providing supportive and effective guidance. Lessons are available through home-based tuition in Melawati or online, with flexible lesson durations to suit each student's needs.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorising formulas. As a Senior Engineer, I apply analytical and problem-solving skills to make Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Biology easier to understand, with practical examples where relevant. I adapt my teaching methods to each student's learning pace, explain difficult topics step by step, and provide exercises to strengthen understanding and build confidence.

Each lesson typically lasts 1–2 hours, depending on the student's needs and attention span. My classes are suitable for secondary school students, from Form 1 to Form 5, who want to strengthen their fundamentals, improve academic performance, prepare for examinations or tackle challenging topics. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. Lessons are available through home-based tuition in Melawati or online sessions.
