About Abdul
My name is Qaiyum, and I've been teaching SPM Mathematics and Additional Mathematics since 2015. Math and Addmath aren't just subjects I teach — I scored an A+ in Addmath myself during my own SPM, and that experience shaped how I explain concepts today: breaking down what tripped me up back then so students don't get stuck the same way. Beyond tutoring, I'm currently a university student in computing, and I'm also building an education-focused project aimed at helping Malaysian secondary school students learn more effectively — so teaching isn't just something I do on the side, it's genuinely where my interests lie. I care about my students actually understanding the "why" behind each formula, not just memorizing steps for exams.

With over 9 years of experience teaching SPM Mathematics and Additional Mathematics since 2015 — including scoring an A+ in Addmath myself for SPM — I bring a proven, exam-focused approach to every lesson. Each student gets custom-made notes and a personalized lesson plan built around their own syllabus, strengths, and weak points, rather than generic worksheets everyone gets the same. Lessons typically run for [1.5 to 2 hours] and are designed for SPM-level students in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor who want clear explanations, steady practice, and real improvement in exam technique and confidence heading into their final papers.
