About Jennifer
I've been teaching all levels of math since 1986. I'm pretty good at it. I'm currently a university instructor, but really enjoy high school, middle school, and elderly students as well!
I wanted to help my community so I started tutoring a developmentally delayed adult who wanted to get better at math. I loved it. My college didn't have a teacher ed program, so upon graduation I decided to just try teaching as a piece corps vol. It was the best idea I ever had! Loved it ever since.
Masters in Math Education.
Tons of Math.
Taught high school in the inner city, taught middle school in Africa, in French.
Tutored (all levels) since 1983.
Have taught at the college level since 1995.
Working on my doctorate in Math Ed & Equity.
Working with Indigenous students and cultural relevance since 2004.
Prepared many students for post-grad STEM work and grad programs.

Have a conversation, discuss their goals and math history, practice some problems together, laugh a little.
