About Alex

My method of teaching helps build the student's foundations of analytics so that he or she will fully understand the material as well as learn how to grasp things quickly and independently in the future.

I love seeing the transformation of my students when they fully begin understanding the material, the moment when they start seeing the bigger picture of how everything connects.

I tutored for other high-schoolers while I was in high school. I also tutor my fellow engineering students at college.

I had a 4.8 GPA in high school and I am now an engineering major at Northwestern university.

About the lesson

The most important thing to dive into first is to understand the depth to which the student already understands the material. Sometimes basic foundations were missed or not gone over in class that are necessary to continue building for the new subject material.

I have worked with students aged 6-22. They're level of development has ranged from AP and college students to younger students just looking for a better grasp on material.

Perfect! I hired Alex for my son who was in high school (he just graduated). Alex helped him with AP Calculus as well as his college essays, getting him into his dream school of Notre Dame. My son and I are so thankful to have had a tutor as helpful and understanding as Alex. She thoroughly understands Math as well as college admittance and we feel lucky to have been graced with her help.

Perfect! Alex was such a great tutor! Probably the best experience I’ve had with one. She helped me with a physics and calculus class at Northwestern. I was really struggling in the classes and feel so much better after working with her. She has vast knowledge of the subjects and is great at explaining them. She’s also very patient and kind. Thank you Alex for all your help!!
