About Jae

Hello there! My name is Jae, and I'm a graduate from Cornell University with 5+ years of tutoring. I'm thrilled at the opportunity to be your tutor, bringing not only my passion for education but also the expertise I gained during my undergraduate studies at one of the top universities in the world. When you choose to work with me, you can expect a rewarding and effective learning experience.

My time at Cornell University has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the subjects I teach. I have a solid foundation in Computer Science, Math, Chemistry, and English. This academic background, coupled with my tutoring experience, enables me to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner and guide you towards a deeper understanding of the material.

Working with me is a collaborative and interactive process. I firmly believe in the power of active engagement and participation to facilitate effective learning. Throughout our sessions, I encourage you to ask questions, share your thoughts, and engage in discussions. This approach fosters critical thinking, enhances understanding, and cultivates your confidence in the subject matter.

I understand that each student has unique learning needs and preferences. To accommodate your style, I tailor my teaching approach accordingly. Whether you learn best through visual aids, practical examples, or hands-on activities, I adapt my methods to ensure that you grasp the material thoroughly. I provide clear explanations, break down complex topics into manageable parts, and offer practical strategies for problem-solving.

Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment is one of my key strengths. I empathize with the challenges of tackling new concepts, and I'm committed to helping you every step of the way. I provide constructive feedback, celebrate your achievements, and motivate you to overcome obstacles. Together, we will build not only subject-specific knowledge but also valuable skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective study habits.

Your success and growth as a student are my top priorities. I am dedicated to providing you with the support you need to excel academically. Whether it's answering questions outside of our scheduled sessions or providing additional resources to enhance your understanding, I will go the extra mile to ensure your progress.

Moreover, you can rely on me as a reliable and professional tutor. Punctuality is important to me, and I strive to make the most of our time together. I come prepared to our sessions with organized materials, practice problems, and a structured plan tailored to help you achieve your learning goals.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you excel academically and develop a deep appreciation for the subjects we explore together. With my expertise, passion, and personalized approach, I am confident that we can unlock your full potential and empower you to achieve your academic aspirations.

Thank you for considering me as your tutor. I am excited to embark on this learning journey with you, leveraging my educational background from Cornell University, and witnessing your growth and accomplishments along the way!
