About Cinthia
My service stands out becuase my goal is always for the student to developed a love for math. Many times I have found that students have a hard time understanding math, not becuase it is a hard subject, but becuase teachers usually lack the patience for each student to develop the core math concepts. I model my teaching to my students style of learning. I understand that students have different styles of learning so I would never try and teach a visual learner by an auditory method.
Every student is different and I quickly learn what works with each student and how to adapt our sessions to benefit the student.
I love it when students my students started our time together hating math and I see that they slowly start to enjoy math. My motto is "you dont know it, YET". Everyone can learn anything with enough patience and attention, and I love being that source of support.
I have been tutoring for 10 years. I am a current tutor at California State University of Long Beach. I am also a current tutor at my towns local highschool. I was a summer tutor for (Learn For Life Mission Academy) and during my time there I learned many skills for online tutoring.

I have never had a tutor that has been so patient with me when I don’t understand something. Cinthia will use different techniques if I don’t understand something and always makes sure I understand the concept which has helped me in my other math classes. Cynthia is very professional and her commitment is wonderful. She is so good at finding where my son needs her help and she makes sure my son is ready for tests and quizzes. His grade went up from a C to an A in his Calculus class.
