About Eileen
Hi my name is Eileen, and I enjoy helping with all levels of High School and College Mathematics, and I specialize in Calculus, Statistics and Physics. Any of my students will tell you that my favorite words in the world are: “NOW I GET IT!” I love love love my job, and I have the best time inspiring student confidence, belief in themselves, and an appreciation for mathematics AND the doors that math can open for your future!

I have a BS Degree in Applied Mathematics from Cal Poly SLO, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from USC. I can help with Calculus, Statistics & Physics (including AP courses) as well as Geometry, Algebra, Precalculus, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations, all other HS/College Math Courses, many Physics and Engineering Courses, and math sections of any Standardized Test Preparation.
I tutor via FaceTime/Zoom and I offer weekly or “as-needed” sessions.
Weekday afternoons, evenings and late nights are great; I'm a night-owl, so it's never too late to do math! Mornings, weekends and same-day bookings also by request (subject to availability).

Perfect! Mrs. Eileen is just an all out wonderful tutor. She is hardworking and dependable. I had her for Calculus, Differential Equations/Linear Algebra, Physics, and Circuit Analysis. I passed all of my classes and understood the material through her teachings. Mrs. Eileen is so sweet and is willing to help students for any problems they struggle with. Perfect! Eileen is truly amazing! I am a working adult that went back to college. I needed to take calculus for my degree. Thank heavens for Eileen. I had not done math in over 20 years. Perfect! I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Eileen as my tutor. While enrolled in a Discrete Mathematics course for my Computer Science Master's program, I faced significant challenges, particularly since I had not taken a mathematics course in over 20 years. The stress was overwhelming, and I found myself losing sleep over the difficulty of the material. Eileen, however, took on every problem I presented with remarkable patience and skill, breaking each concept down in a clear and concise manner. For the first time in my life, I was able to truly grasp the concepts of mathematics.
Eileen consistently went above and beyond, dedicating extra time to particularly challenging problems until she was confident in our understanding. There were even moments when we collaboratively identified errors in the professor's materials that were later confirmed to be accurate.
Initially, I was hesitant about the investment in a tutor, but Eileen's expertise and engaging personality made the experience incredibly rewarding. Her teaching style and deep knowledge have left me wishing I had encountered a teacher like her much earlier in my academic journey. Had I done so, I might have developed a genuine enjoyment for mathematics.
Just hire her.- Carlye, you're amazing, and we sure had some fun, didn't we? This graduate-level discrete mathematics course was SUPER challenging for me too, and I do physics & calculus everyday! Eileen has been an incredible help in improving my skills in Calculus II and Physics I. She is always patient and willing to explain multiple times, and she has allowed me to make great advances in both subjects. Overall, Eileen is a great tutor, and I highly recommend.
Eileen tutored our son in Elementary Statistics, a prerequisite for the business program at his university. She is amazing! In addition to teaching him everything about statistics, she was extremely encouraging, patient and went above and beyond by staying close to our son’s grade progress throughout the semester. She worked hard to keep him organized and on track whenever she sensed he was losing focus.
Eileen truly cared about how he performed. Her follow up was excellent. We highly recommend Eileen as a math tutor. Our son will no doubt use her services as he tackles his next college math course.She was really good at explaining and showing how to do problems, and when you didn’t understand them or thought it was done a different way, she would show you why it was wrong and made sure you understood.

Eileen always makes it easy to schedule sessions and knows every textbook inside and out. She really makes doing math fun and understandable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone whether you are struggling or want to advance your math skills.
Eileen is the BEST! She is extremely good at explaining WHY you do different steps instead of just showing HOW to do the steps. She is energetic and excited about teaching her little tips and tricks. She also has super helpful materials like condensed "cheat sheets" of the most important things to remember when doing specific problems. I've never had a tutor as detailed and thorough in explaining complex topics as Eileen, and I'd recommend her to anyone!!
Eileen is amazing at explaining difficult math concepts while also making her sessions fun and engaging! I saw my test scores increase significantly after working with her. To anyone struggling with certain concepts or looking to improve their math skills in general, I highly recommend working with her.

Mrs.Zeller is amazing at explaining every aspect of a problem so that you understand why and how a math equation works rather than just memorizing everything. I have been tutored by her I’m multiple subjects and she always makes everything click for me. She has created very useful equation sheets and has collected a bunch of textbooks overtime so she can show you the best possible resources for your question as well.
