About Max
Im a university student in Mechanical and Administrative Engineering, as for highschool I graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program, I got perfect marks on Math and Physics.
I have a passion for Math and Physics, I have even competed on several math olimpics and won an international 3rd place prize.
When a student goes from 30% to 90% or gets an A on a test after failing the last one I get the same feeling of happiness as if it would ́ve been me.
Why I chose tutoring:
I ́m going to university for Engeneering and would like to become a professor on my 50s after I ́m done working for some company, so I started tutoring my classmates in 9th grade to see if I really enjoyed it, and I did, now with the pandemic I thought it could be an opportunity to expand to online tutoring. I tutored all my senior year and really enjoyed it so I decided to continue for university.

I ask my students for a goal they want to accomplish through my tutoring and then divide it into several topics I need to teach, then when I´m teaching my goal isn´t for my student to learn how to solve a math problem but to understand how the mathematical processes for its solution work so they can even learn how to make their own methods that work best for them.
