About William
I have recently finished a Master's degree in Computational Applied Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh, graduating with a Distinction. My thesis focused on the Stability of Selective Solutions to the 3-Body problem combining maths, mechanics and computational techniques.
I am now working as a full-time tutor before pursing doctoral research in Earth and climate science.
Outside of maths, I enjoy climbing, mountaineering and photography in the Scottish hills!

I tutor Maths (inc. Applications of Maths) and Physics at GCSE, Nat5, A-Level, Scottish Highers and Advanced Highers. In addition, I can offer MAT and STEP support and teach Python.
I have spent four years organising and running a Scratch and Python programming class for children 7-12. Additionally, I have experience teaching GCSE further mathematics classes and Royal Institute masterclasses for primary children.
Hours are typically 1 or 2 per session, but this is flexible. Edinburgh based.
