My teaching method is heavily based around worked examples in which I hold my tutees hand and guide them to their own answers instead of doing it for them. I believe that the best way to learn anything is by doing it, so I tend to show them the method, work through examples and then set a few questions for them to do alone. I like to keep the atmosphere fun and light so my tutees don’t get bored and switch off, this involves writing some of my own example questions in an interesting and relatable context.
