About Desiree

I am a very friendly and understanding person, who also has lots of patience, so there is no judgement in any aspect of my lessons. I will always try to explain things in the simplest way possible but also give a variation of methods, allowing students to choose what they think is easier for them. I always teach in a professional manner whilst still maintaining a welcoming persona to make my students comfortable.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is giving the student the lead for the lesson; they will let me know how they are struggling and will attempt practise questions themselves. I will then go on to explain the correct method and what the student has made a mistake on. Typically my lessons can range from 30 mins to 1hr, and I tend to teach KS1 and KS2.
