About Alexis
I am a recent graduate from SUNY Geneseo where I studied Mathematics and minored in Human Development. This minor taught me how children and adolescents learn and grow, and helped me to understand how to effectively teach others. I was a Math Tutor and a Teacher Assistant for a calculus course throughout my time at college.

My teaching method is to put most of the focus on the students. It is very easy to daydream or stop listening when someone is simply lecturing at you - this is why it is important to allow the students to attempt problems on their own and be there for any questions.
