About Jay
I hope to improve the student's ability and attitude towards the subject to ensure that they see their tuition sessions as a fun challenge; this will provide them with the most realistic prospect of achieving better marks and hopefully encouraging them in other subjects too. The key to this is to be supportive, patient and enthusiastic but not belittling. I work at Watford Mencap with children (3-13) with learning difficulties and so have plenty of experience in helping children.
I am currently studying Law at Warwick University and have achieved 10A* at GCSE and a scholarship at 13+ to Merchant Taylors' School. I sat Maths iGCSE a year early and achieved an A*, and also am a successful medical school applicant (though I chose not to follow this path) where quantative reasoning testing is key.
