Tom is a very patient and responsive guitar teacher. I had been attempting guitar on and off for years but I had several major stumbling blocks which he helped me overcome quickly. He is very adaptable in his willingness to teach different styles, and has gone to great efforts to send me resources such as videos to help me practice between lessons.

I was a beginner to intermediate level guitarist when I started having lessons with Tom. His teaching style makes lessons really laid back and fun. It was his way of explaining and applying music theory that really helped my playing. I could never really be bothered to figure out music theory before, but Tom made it all make sense within a couple of lessons and everything just clicked!

Guitar lessons with Tom were really helpful for me to better understand guitar music theory, to practice playing with Tom, as well as being a 'surgery' to make sure I was getting into good playing habits. I'd certainly recommend Tom for beginners on guitar.

Tom has been an excellent guitar teacher. He has tailored the lessons to my interests and ability, and always makes an effort with resources (worksheets and practice videos).

Apart from that, Tom is a very patient and supportive teacher who is always reliable.

Tom taught me guitar from more or less beginner level. I have been having regular lessons with him for almost a year now and have progressed my playing and understanding of music beyond a level that I ever even imagined. His way of explaining ideas and breaking things down made things that I thought were so complicated seem simple. His style of teaching is very relaxed and enjoyable so most of all the lessons are fun!
