Hi, I'm Aastha — welcome to my tutoring space!
I hold an M.Tech degree, and along the way I discovered my favorite part of engineering wasn't just solving problems — it was explaining how to solve them so they finally make sense to someone else. That's what brought me to tutoring.
I know math can feel intimidating when a concept just won't click. My goal is to change that — with patience, clarity, and lessons built around how you learn, not a one-size-fits-all script. Whether you're catching up, staying ahead, or prepping for an important exam, you'll leave every session feeling more confident than when you started.

My Teaching Approach
I believe math becomes easy once you understand the "why" behind every formula — not just the steps to solve a problem. My methodology combines clear concept-building with plenty of guided practice, so you're never just memorizing rules; you're learning to think like a mathematician.
Each lesson blends three things: a short, simple explanation of the concept using real-life examples, a set of practice problems we solve together (starting easy and getting progressively harder), and a quick recap at the end to make sure everything clicked before we move on.
A Typical Lesson
Warm-up (5 min): A quick review of the last topic to keep concepts fresh.
New concept (15 min): I break the topic down into simple, visual steps and connect it to something relatable.
Guided practice (20 min): We solve problems together — I guide, you do the thinking, and I step in only when needed.
Independent practice (10 min): You try a couple of problems on your own so I can see where you stand.
Wrap-up (5 min): A quick summary, plus a short take-home task to reinforce the lesson.

With an M.Tech background, I bring strong analytical training to how I teach — I don't just show you the answer, I show you the reasoning path an engineer or mathematician would take.
