About Ethan
I am a current Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineering student and have lots of experience tutoring K-12 and sometimes help my younger college friends when they need it. In addition to that, I am big into music and calisthenics. I play trumpet and piano, love to write music, and calisthenics is my way to get strong, exercise, and show off from time to time. I have also played my fair share of sports and video games, so I can find something in common with almost everybody.

I think the best thing someone can do to learn anything is simply practice it. However, when learning for the first time, it is important to know exactly what you are doing so you can practice it perfectly. I try to balance demonstration and allowing the student to figure out parts of the process on their own in order to better solidify it in their memory.
I am most comfortable teaching in the algebra to calculus (Calc 1 and 2) range of math, but I have experience teaching even basic arithmetic and am comfortable working all the way up to differential equations. Additionally, I take many physics courses and would be very capable with dynamic or static physics (not so much the electrical stuff). In terms of grade level, I am most comfortable with topics from 8th grade all the way up to 2nd or 3rd year college students.
