About Arunabh
I am a high school math teacher with over 3 years of full time classroom experience and several hours of one on one tutoring. I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Mathematics. My first job after college was teaching English in Korea. Since then, I've been touching Mathematics in America.

My approach to teaching in a classroom is different than when I'm tutoring. When I teach a new lesson to a large group of students, I break down the process, focussing on each step individually. For the more advanced students, I give them the opportunity to jump ahead.
As a tutor, I find a way to get to the root of whatever the particular student I'm working with is struggling. This often starts with a diagnostic test that tells me how proficient they are in the basic topics of the math level they're at. Based on the results of said test, I create lesson plans around topics the student did not do well in.
