About Omolara
As the first child of my parents, I had been saddled with the responsibility of setting a good example and being a role model for my siblings from infancy.
My parents and most parents from my culture take special care in teaching their first child as it is believed that the first then set the standard for the younger ones. I will say this is where teaching started for me. I taught my siblings the best of lessons of life and I must say I am proud of who we have all become as everyone now thrives greatly in their own space.
I am also a mother and someone with special interest with kids and particularly in teaching and guiding them in knowledge and skills.
I am very smart and love to tackle problems as quick as possible.
My interest in mathematics started as a child in the primary because I had a very good teacher who used the best method to help me develop great interest in the subject and I carried this all way through university using my passion to solve and teach as many as possible and to encourage them that what is needed to gain skills and knowledge of mathematics is the right attitude and commitment to learn.
I must say that this is my passion and that is the reason I want to teach. I want to make positive impact in people’s lives and open the eyes of everyone to see the simplicity in the seemingly difficult mathematics.

I believe in tailoring teaching methods and approach to individual learning and development needs. I do not believe in the ‘one method fits all approach’ and therefore take some time to understand the student and their situation and this information is then used to design the lesson structure, pattern and approach with the ultimate goal of the student learning at their pace and enjoying the lessons.
