About Subhan
Why I Started Teaching
I started teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping people understand things that they once found difficult.
During my time at university, I had the opportunity to work closely with other students through my role as a Peer Leader and Lead School Representative. I often found myself helping students with questions, explaining difficult concepts, sharing what I had learned, and supporting junior students. What I enjoyed most was seeing the moment when something finally “clicked” for someone.
That experience made me realize that teaching isn’t just about knowing the right answer — it’s about finding the right way to explain it for each individual student.
I know that Math and Physics can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when you’re struggling with the basics or don’t feel confident asking questions. I want to create a comfortable environment where students can ask anything, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace without feeling judged.

My Teaching Style
I believe Math and Physics become much easier when you understand why something works, rather than simply memorizing formulas.
My teaching style is friendly, patient and focused on building confidence. I start by understanding the student’s current level, identifying the areas they find difficult, and then explaining each concept step-by-step in a simple and easy-to-follow way.
Rather than just giving students the answers, I encourage them to think through problems themselves. I use worked examples, practical explanations and plenty of practice questions so that students can understand the method and apply it independently.
Whether you’re struggling with arithmetic, algebra, equations, problem-solving, Math or Physics, I will adapt the lesson to your pace and learning style. If a topic doesn’t make sense the first time, we’ll approach it from a different angle until it does.
