About Alayna
I struggled to keep up with my classes as a slow learner. I spent a lot of time and effort studying on my own and figuring out study tips and tricks that helped me do well in my classes. I was able to break down complex concepts into simple, relatable explanations that helped my past students to excel. Teaching and helping students have always been my passion.

Teaching Methodology:
For sciences:
- Active recall sessions and recap for 10 minutes after every lesson & mini quizzes provided every month to access student’s strengths & weaknesses.
- Find out students least favourite and favourite topics. Start to teach them least favourite topics (most likely their weakest topic too) and build up their confidence from there. Once weaker links are tackled, it is easier to brush up on their stronger concepts and ace the exam.
Math:
- Break down concepts so that students can better understand it. (That is how I self-studied Math and attained A1 for O Levels, Poly & Uni)
- Practice, practice, practice.
- Quizzes every month
- Engaging lessons with the use of online exercises and offline exercises to ensure they enjoy the subject.
- Q&A once every 3 lessons to allow students to voice out their concerns and brush up on misconceptions.
