About Ashley
I have what some describe as an unusual passion and love of math. I wish that everyone could experience how special math is as a subject. It penetrates every part of the life we experience. If I can be a part of helping you understand something that is so special to me, I want to be a part of that. I love my job teaching, I love the work that I do, the subject that I teach, and the relationships that I get to create with all of the people I get the incredible opportunity to interact with. I believe that math is one of the greatest fundamentals that we can learn. Math is a struggle to learn because of the logical thinking and necessary practice involved, but with a little work, it becomes so fun to do. I work tirelessly to take math from an overwhelming frustration to something that is much more manageable. I work through subjects and content that you are struggling with by seeing where you are having issues, and working through them with you to ensure comprehension and understanding. Then, I encourage independent practice. I have seen much success with this method.

Ashley has a solid grasp of mathematics. As a high school math teacher, she understands how to break down big concepts into bite size. She is exceptional at finding each student’s misunderstood and then correcting the way the math needs to be learned by using multiple examples to reach the different learning styles of each student.
