About Alex
I started playing music at the age of 13. I was very quickly fascinated by the blues and the rock of the 70s and after a few years of practice and several concerts I flew to 19 years for Boston where I had the chance to study at the prestigious Berklee School Of Music. Having acquired solid foundations and a real experience of the scene, I soon after my return to Paris worked as a musician and music teacher both freelance and for several associations and schools.

My experience as a teacher but also as an active musician has allowed me to develop a method based on an immediate and musical application of the techniques of the instrument, ear development, rhythm and improvisation concepts for the students. more advanced students. Once I've learned the basics, I quickly encourage my students to practice group play and improvisation and to find out for themselves what makes music a unique and enriching experience. I also accompany the most advanced students in learning jazz and preparing concerts and exams.
