For my first class we have a little interactive session just to get to know each other, the subject and topic you would like me to teach...
I'd also understand better the area you might be struggling with.
I also give assessment tests based on your subject outline, to test your knowledge on the topics/subject in particular.
My classes are combined with classwork, interactive sessions and Q & A, and I ensure that my students get value for their time spent.
