About Teodoro
My name is Teodoro Lara. I’ve been teaching math at Lanier Technical College for 3 years, and before that, I taught at Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Los Andes in my native country. I love learning almost as much as teaching and researching, so I have collected a few degrees. My bachelor’s degree in Mathematics is from Central University, my first Master’s degree (Differential Geometry) is from the University of Los Andes, both in Venezuela. My second Master’s degree (Master of Arts in Applied Mathematics) is from Georgia Institute of Technology. My doctoral degree in Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems is also from Georgia Institute of Technology. Besides that, I have published more than a hundred papers in Applied and Abstract Mathematics. I have also been invited as a Visiting Professor to more than a dozen countries.

I am a retired Mathematics professor with over 30 years of experience teaching and conducting research in various areas of mathematics.
