About Valeria
As a senior in high school who has taken a number of college level math classes I know how frustrating and complicated math can be. I want to become a tutor because I wish to provide help to those students who might not love math or just simply have a hard time understanding it. The reason behind this is that I once struggle too but I had to figure it out on my own, so I would like to be able to tutor so I can make the process of learning math less stressful and more efficient so hopefully math does no have to be such a bad experience as some students say it is.

As of my lesson I will offer help with math homework and I would teach the students the topics and/ or procedures they are struggling with. I would try to simplify topics and find ways to explain them effectively in a way that can be easily understood. Also, I would try to find different ways to present a topic so I can adapt to the different learning styles students might have.
