About Katalin
I believe I am a good math teacher because my relationship with mathematics goes back to my childhood. I have always enjoyed math, so I don’t see it as something that simply has to be done, but as an exciting challenge. This mindset strongly influences the way I teach. Children can usually sense this attitude very quickly. When they see that math is not a burden for me, they are more likely to relax, become curious, and even start to enjoy the subject themselves. In addition to my enthusiasm, I also have solid teaching experience. I have been teaching mathematics for the past two years, mainly working with younger students, but I have also helped older students prepare for their final exams. This has allowed me to adapt my teaching style to different age groups and learning needs. My goal is to make math understandable and something fun at the same time for every student.

I believe that effective learning starts with a good relationship and a positive experience. That’s why I place great importance on creating a friendly, supportive atmosphere during my private math lessons. A typical lesson lasts 50 minutes. The first 5 minutes are dedicated to casual conversation, where we talk about how the child is doing, how school has been, and anything important that might be on their mind. This helps the student feel comfortable and relaxed. After that, we briefly review what we learned in the previous lesson, making sure everything is clear. Then we move on to the new material, always adapting the pace and explanations to the child’s individual needs and learning style. My goal is not only to improve math skills, but also to build confidence and help children feel more comfortable and motivated when working with mathematics.
