About Roheen
I am a college student who has successfully completed Calculus I, Calculus II, and Calculus III, and I tutor Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus. Because I recently took these courses myself, I understand the common mistakes and confusing parts that students run into.
My goal is to make math feel clear, organized, and less stressful. I explain problems step by step, focus on why each method works, and help students build confidence through practice. I am patient, reliable, and committed to helping students improve their understanding, grades, and problem-solving skills.

I focus on making math feel less overwhelming and more step-by-step. I tutor Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus by breaking problems into simple patterns, explaining why each step works, and then practicing similar examples until the student feels confident doing it alone.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of what the student is struggling with, then we work through examples together, and finally I let the student try problems while I guide them. I like to focus on understanding, not memorizing, especially for topics like functions, trig identities, limits, derivatives, integrals, and 3D/vector concepts.
What sets me apart is that I recently went through these courses myself, including Calculus I, Calculus II, and Calculus III, so I understand where students usually get stuck. I am patient, clear, and good at explaining difficult concepts in a way that feels manageable.
