About Eileen
I am a new Towson university graduate with a degree in Psychology. Pre-covid i have been a camp counselor at Cecil college the past few years. I love math but don’t see a career in it. Tutoring will give me the opportunity to have math in my life again and help others know math with ease.

My teaching approach is different depending on what math I’m teaching. For example with algebra I’d say practice makes perfect. Familiarity with the functions and practice would help in that area. However with more abstract math like trigonometry and geometry, free thinking is important. In math there is usually one answer and one way to get to it, but when doing stuff like proofs and word problems you have the ability to get the correct answer in different ways. Keeping your mind open and thinking outside the box would be very helpful in these cases.

Perfect! My son attended private school from 1st-4th grade until they abruptly closed. When he transitioned to public school he was having a hard time in math, struggling in class, with homework, and failing test. He became very discouraged and it was affecting his other subjects. Eileen came onboard and within 3 lessons his math grades improved, he passed his first test and his confidence has went back up. She is very patient and I look forward to continuing to work with her through the school year to stay on top of his grades and continue to prosper! I strongly suggest her for math!
Perfect! Since moving from private to public school, my son has struggled with math. Eileen has been a godsend and he will finish out the year with a "B" in math. We could not be happier with His progress since he started working with her.
