About Hafeez
I am a lifelong academic who has devoted his life to playing a very minor role in children's education. The academic side is a given but with simple techniques and the correct motivation, a child can excel beyond his/her perceived capabilities. The joy of seeing this is the purpose why I teach. Although I hold a pharmacy degree, I left the profession in 1996 and went into business in which I have been successful. Many disciplines I learnt and mastered as a student were vital to overcoming numerous challenges along the way: discipline, hard work, planning and motivation. This demonstrates that an academic career is life-changing and critical. I can honestly say had I not had the solid foundation of a formal education, my business life would have not followed as successful a path as it has done. When IT came along in the late 90s, I went back to university to do a master's degree in information systems. I realised the huge importance and significance of it in the coming years and did not want to be handicapped in my activities. The crucial nature of a formal education is even more pressing today whether a career is followed in the chosen discipline or not, as demonstrated by my life. If I can help one person achieve his goal, and even more so, if I can help a young person to achieve success through his own hard work when they never believed it possible, then my job is done. Hafeez thought me chemistry found his teaching easy to understand
