My classroom, whether online or in person, is a safe space where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are part of the process, and confidence is built over time. I believe that teaching should help people grow not only as a professional but as a person so I use evidence-based teaching methods rooted in positive psychology, focusing on strengths, motivation, and real-world application. You can count on my professionalism, consistency, and genuine commitment to your growth. I take pride in being approachable, well-prepared, and responsive ensuring that every session adds value to your academic and professional journey.

About the lesson

I’m an international affiliate of the American Psychological Association, a licensed clinical psychologist, and an experienced university lecturer with over 800 hours of teaching and 2500+ hours of clinical practice. I've taught core psychology courses including Health Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Positive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Psychopathology, Research Methods, and Principles of Psychology. My passion lies in making complex psychological concepts simple, relatable, and applicable to real-life situations so that when you go out for clinical practice you don't feel lost. In clinical practice, I’m trained in CBT, REBT, and IPT, and I actively supervise therapy and counseling work. My combined academic and hands-on clinical background gives students a well-rounded learning experience. As a listed MAXQDA trainer and winner of the MAXQDA Research for Change Grant 2023, I’ve helped many undergraduate students confidently design, analyze, and present high-quality research projects. I’ve also worked as a consultant on mental health tech platforms like Propel (for adults with ADHD) and MuseAlpha (a CBT-based mental health chatbot), so if you are looking forward to work as a consultant I can help you out. Whether you're seeking help with your psychology coursework, need guidance on your research project, or want mentorship in clinical and counseling skills, I bring both academic depth and practical insight. I’m here to help you succeed, grow, and become the confident psychology professional.

Learning psychology with ma'am Sarah has been one of the best parts of my academic journey. From the very first class she made everything feel so simple and relatable even the tricky topics that used to confuse me before. I'll be looking forward to more classes. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to understand psychology. Her way of explaining things is clear, and always connected to real-life situations which really helped me understand the subject better.
