About Ranjini
Hi, I'm Ranjini! I have a Bachelors of Science and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Although my background is mechanical engineering, I have experience in Electrical Engineering and coding. I am passionate about solving and explaining challenging concepts! I personally love solving puzzles (feel free to chat about today's Connection :) ) and playing board games like Clue or Catan.
I love seeing students experience breakthroughs when I simplify complex concepts! I enjoy applying creative teaching strategies for struggling students. I am familiar with using multiple modes for teaching, from Zoom to Desmos Graphing to illustrate concepts, along with pedagogical styles to make learning a memorable experience for students.
In my spare time, I love to try out new hobbies from my Bucket List (so far I completed 17 out of 51 items)!

A typical lesson would include practice problems, in addition to identifying gaps in knowledge of a subject. Based on the student's understanding, I will also take time to explain the reasoning behind a concept. Testing anxiety or "not enough time" is a common concern among students, so I focus on techniques for solving problems quickly! The lesson plans are adaptable to each student's needs and course.
My lessons are for high schoolers to college students. Classes I teach are included as follows:
- Math: Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Multivariable Calculus, and Linear Algebra (SAT and AP level Math)
- Physics (College Physics and AP Physics C)
