About Kishan
I am a Computational Science postgraduate with a deep passion for understanding how things work, whether in mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, or other scientific disciplines. I enjoy connecting ideas across subjects and believe that the strongest learning happens through understanding rather than memorization.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in first-principles thinking. I believe students should understand why a concept exists before learning how to apply it. Instead of treating formulas, algorithms, or definitions as facts to memorize, I encourage students to explore the logic behind them. Once the underlying ideas become intuitive, solving problems becomes a natural process rather than an exercise in recall.
I also follow a top-down approach to learning. Before diving into details, I introduce the bigger picture—how a concept fits into the subject, why it matters, and how it connects to other ideas. I use visual explanations, analogies, thought experiments, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts easier to understand. My aim is to help students develop intuition, curiosity, and the confidence to think independently.
Beyond teaching, I am deeply interested in algorithms, scientific computing, artificial intelligence, mathematics, and interdisciplinary science. I enjoy continuously learning and exploring new fields because I believe an effective teacher should always remain an active learner.

I believe the best way to learn is to understand *why* something works before memorizing *how* to solve it. My teaching is based on first-principles thinking, visualization, and logical reasoning rather than rote learning. I adapt every lesson to the student's current level, identify conceptual gaps, and build a strong foundation before moving to advanced topics.
A typical class begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by intuitive explanations, real-world examples, and guided problem-solving. Instead of simply solving questions, I explain the reasoning behind every step so students develop confidence and learn how to approach unfamiliar problems independently. Lessons are interactive, and I encourage students to ask questions and participate in discussions throughout the class.
