About Jacques
Experience : I have had the opportunity to support 4 students so far, which managed to make rapid progress in their studies but also in the way they work every day. 6 sessions of 2 hours were enough for my first two students; Max and Alexander; to see their grades increase significantly. As for Julie, another of my students, it took only 4 sessions of methodology to improve her way of working at home as well as in school. I nevertheless remained for 6 more sessions at the request of the parents to confirm her early successes and accompany her with her workload until the end of her term.

Hi there ! My name is Jacques Cappy. Soon to be graduated from Sciences Po Paris, I originate from a general high school in Scientific section. My method : I propose specific courses aimed to develop two main themes in my students. On the one hand, I work on their ability to organize effectively so that they can cope easily with their workload. On the other hand, I try to improve their confidence in reasoning skills and self-management. This approach allows my students to develop working methods which will soon take over the need for a teacher. Subjects Taught : Coming from a Scientific section and studying now in Sciences Po, I am quite comfortable with all high school education, whether it is scientific or human studies. By request of the parents, I often supported my students in the fields of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, but I am of course willing to make Humanities tutorials as well as general knowledge and languages. After living a year in Manila, Philippines, I am now fluent in English. I also have a moderate high level (B2) in German as well as high amateur level (A2) in Spanish. During the organization If you want to use my services, I will first determine with you the goals of my tutoring and together we can establish a schedule of subjects and themes to work on. I will of course never objected to deviate to other subject lessons (e.g : TPE) if the need arose. Availability : I remain very open outside of my School hours, and have no problem moving to your home if it is not too far from my place of residence (Paris, Place d'Italie).
