About Adam
I am a student and aspiring theoretical physicist at the University of Oregon with strong backgrounds in math, physics, chemistry, and human physiology. I have been providing individual remote help to students needing help in math and chemistry for over a year. The several students I have tutored have all improved their test scores by up to 2 letter grades and have much less trouble understanding new concepts. I have experience in calculus, several variable calculus, differential equations, chemistry, human physiology, anatomy, and physics.

I am a second-year double major in math and physics at the University of Oregon offering remote help to students in math classes up to calculus as well as introductory physics and chemistry courses. My teaching method is based entirely on listening to what material a student is least comfortable with to provide background material and examples which help strengthen the student's understanding of the topic. As a tutor, I listen closely to the student and ensure that material leading up to difficult topics is fully understood before tackling more advanced coursework. I teach students by providing clear explanations, introducing useful online tools, and conforming my instruction to fit the student's learning style.
