About Rayne
I have been a tutor for 8 years and received glowing recommendations from students and parents alike. I have a BS in Mathematical Statistics from George Mason University with a Minor in Biology. I have performed genomics research at UCLA and geometry research at GMU. I have a passion for learning sciences and sharing that learning with others. I live in Northern Virginia and have experience teaching and learning in an international context.

I have experience tutoring elementary, middle, and high schoolers in Math, Biology, and Statistics. In the beginning of the lessons, this means I will assess and ask you questions to learn your strengths and weaknesses, and then I will create my own materials to assess you and build upon those strengths and work on the weaknesses to get you where you want to be. I know what it's like to succeed, and I know what it is like to struggle in classes, and I try to take both of those into consideration to truly empathize with students, which I believe is the key to good teaching.
