About Eleanor
At GCSE I achieved a grade A in mathematics and then went on to study maths further at a-level and have predicted grades of an A. I am also studying statistics and mechanics. Currently I haven't officially given lessons however I am often the one whom people to come to for help and advice on maths problems.

My teaching methods are based on how the students learn best, I adapt my way of teaching to best fulfil the students needs. Usually I begin with explaining the methods behind the topics and any trick that are helpful and then start to work through some questions with the student explaining how I would do it. Then I would ask the student to talk me through how they think they should answer a question and correct them if wrong. I would then give them a few easy questions to ensure they have the basic knowledge and then gradually expose them to harder questions until they have mastered the topic.
