About Sienna
I earned my Bachelor’s in Mathematics Education from the University of Rhode Island, where I supported tutoring programs for students who struggled with foundational math. With 6 years of tutoring and 4 years of online one-on-one teaching, I’ve developed a kind, patient, and highly encouraging approach. Students often tell me I’m the first tutor who made them feel “safe” in math class. Parents say I help their children rediscover hope and determination.

My Math lessons begin with reassurance: “You are capable, and we will take this one small step at a time.”
I specialise in teaching weak or discouraged students who feel lost in numbers. Algebra becomes easier when we treat it like small puzzles, not a race. Geometry becomes a visual story of shapes that finally makes sense. Statistics becomes a way to understand patterns in everyday life. Early Calculus becomes gentle introductions to change using simple examples like filling a glass or watching a car speed up.
I motivate students by celebrating progress — even tiny improvements. I never rush, never judge, and never move forward until the student feels ready. My goal is to show them that math is something they can understand, and that confidence is the first step toward success in college-level math.
