About Liana
UCL MSc in Machine Learning graduate with a first class Bachelor's in Maths and 3 years of tutoring experience in maths, programming.
The subjects/topics/frameworks that I can teach you include calculus, linear algebra, abstract algebra, numerical optimisation, Bayesian probability and statistics, basic information theory, programming in Python (including Tensorflow and Pytorch), Java, dynamic programming, advanced algorithms and data structures, deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, graphical models, natural language processing, data science (yes, all the cool AI stuff!).
I am happy to help with school projects, prepare for exams, technical job interviews, or just provide general knowledge in related subjects!

During my undergraduate, I have been tutoring younger students in mathematics and computer science. I love helping others to have better understanding of subjects I am passionate about and tackle problems together. I started a society promoting education in mathematics and programming and was named the lead tutor in my department. Being student myself, I know how difficult learning can be and how vital it is to have someone to help you. My goal is to promote collaborative learning and make students more confident with mathematics and computer science! I focus on thorough understanding of theoretical concepts as well as provide many examples. I work with young kids, university students and adult learners.
