About Tom
I am an student at The University Of Exeter, currently studying Computer Science and Maths. For 2 years, I helped as a teachers assistant for GCSE maths while studying for my A-levels. I am aware of the hardships of the relatively new specs of GCSE and A-Level maths. I have also had experience and can help with GCSE and A-level Further Maths and the UKMT challenges.

As a tutor, I feel that it is important that students fully understand each topic of their respective courses. As a maths tutor, I can approach topics in different ways to help students understand. Maths is about applying problem solving skills to different problems, and I try to teach in such a way that allows students to apply each skill to different sorts of problems. Most importantly, I try to ensure that students learn from their mistakes and know how to check for errors.
