About Arpita

Hi, I'm Arpita! I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Astrophysics at the University of Potsdam, with a background in Engineering and over 6 years of teaching experience.
What I enjoy most about teaching is watching a student go from "I'm terrible at this" to "Wait, I can actually do this!"
I'm a big believer that confidence comes before good grades, and that a little patience and the right explanation can make all the difference. My students know me as someone they can ask the same question ten times without ever feeling embarrassed.
For me, teaching is as much about building trust as it is about Maths and Physics.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, and I take the time to understand what works for each one.
My lessons are fun, interactive, and thoughtfully structured, with plenty of examples, practice, and room for questions. I focus on making difficult concepts feel manageable, without rushing or putting unnecessary pressure on students.
With experience teaching Primary, Secondary, GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics, I balance a relaxed atmosphere with clear academic goals, regular feedback, and steady progress.
I want my students to leave each lesson feeling a little more confident than when they arrived — and genuinely looking forward to the next one.
