About Sandile
I have been recently nominated and winner for excellent teaching in the special needs and inclusive category in the my school, district and my Free state province.
I have an experience of managing and leading a department as I am acting as HOD for FET section for the deaf and blind learners, where teachers of different subjects(Maths, Visual art, English, Sesotho, LO, CAT, Hospitality, SASL and SCIENCES) are accounting to me for administration and academics, but personally I have an experience of teaching Mathematics, physical sciences and life Sciences or Natural Science, Information Technology or Computer Application Technology from Grade 8 to 12.
All the schools I have taught and shared my knowledge, are all performing school in maths and science (Thahameso in 2008, Mampoi in 2010, Thlorong in 2011 and Thiboloha special school 2012 up to date) which implies I have a good experience of good performance and how I can influence and share my best practice to obtain good results.
I am also nominated as Free state amesa Secretary since 2015 to develop and capacitate maths, math lit and science teachers or educators in teaching mathematics and leadership across the free state province.
I am also a part-time tutor in the Kutlwanong project for maths and science based at tshiya, teaching and promoting level 7 performance in learners with potential capacity and attitude(level 4).
I also worked for kakgiso trust project gaining skills such as Mentoring and supporting educators in Mathematics, Life sciences, physical sciences contents and arranging workshops for teacher development.
I have marking experience since 2012 to date, marking the Mathematics National Senior examination for Grade 12.
I have moderation skill and experience in grade 10,11 and 12 both in school and district level. Also moderation and support in special school.

My teaching method is based on respecting diversity and my approach is explaining the concept, give example and assess the learner based on the example provided. I ensure that I mark learners work with indication as to where a leaner is lacking in terms of concert.
