About Akash

Hello dear students,

I am Dr. Akash, and I'll be guiding you through this course. Before we embark on this academic journey together, I'd like to share a bit about myself so you can get to know me better.

I am an International Medical Graduate, which means I've had the privilege of experiencing medical education and practices from different parts of the world. This diverse exposure has enriched my understanding of medicine, and I hope to bring these varied perspectives into our classroom.

In addition to my medical background, I am also pursuing a Master's in Public Health. This has given me a holistic view of healthcare, emphasizing not just the treatment but also the prevention of diseases. I believe that understanding the broader context of health, including social determinants and community aspects, is crucial for any medical professional.

My dual background in medicine and public health allows me to bridge the gap between individual patient care and population health. I am passionate about integrating these two fields, and I hope to instill in you the importance of looking at health from both micro and macro perspectives.

As we go through this course, I encourage you to ask questions, challenge conventional wisdom, and think critically. I am here to support and mentor you, and I look forward to learning from each one of you as well.

Let's make this a collaborative and enriching experience for all of us!

Warm regards,
Dr. Akash

Dear Future Student,

Welcome to our learning journey together! As we embark on this path, I'd like to share with you my personal approach to private tutoring. My hope is that by understanding my philosophy and methods, we can foster a productive and collaborative learning environment.

Individualized Learning: Every student is unique, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. My primary goal is to tailor our sessions to your specific needs. This means that our lessons won't follow a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, they'll be designed with you in mind.
Open Communication: A successful tutoring relationship is built on trust and open communication. I encourage you to share your thoughts, concerns, and goals with me. Whether you're struggling with a particular topic or want to delve deeper into a subject, your feedback is invaluable.
Growth Mindset: Embracing challenges and viewing mistakes as opportunities for growth is central to my teaching philosophy. I believe that with dedication and the right guidance, anyone can master any subject. Our sessions will focus not just on content, but also on fostering this growth mindset.
Active Participation: Passive learning rarely leads to deep understanding. I'll encourage you to be an active participant in our sessions, asking questions, discussing concepts, and practicing skills. Together, we'll transform challenges into achievements.
Holistic Learning: While our primary focus will be on academic content, I also believe in the importance of developing skills like critical thinking, time management, and effective study habits. These skills will serve you well beyond our sessions and into your broader academic and professional life.
Feedback and Reflection: After each session, we'll take a moment to reflect on what went well and areas for improvement. This iterative feedback process will ensure that we're always moving forward and adjusting our approach as needed.
Resources and Support: Beyond our scheduled sessions, I'm committed to providing you with additional resources and support. This might include supplementary readings, practice problems, or tools to enhance your learning.
Commitment to Excellence: My commitment to you is unwavering. I'm dedicated to ensuring that you not only achieve your academic goals but also discover the joy of learning. Your success is my success.

Warm Regards,
Akash
