About Thomas
I am currently reading for a degree in Psychology and I am able to offer tutoring in both Maths and Psychology.
I have been tutoring for three years and I have supported hundreds of students with maths. I pride myself on being able to build confidence in my students and supporting them to reach academic goals which they thought were unobtainable.
Before this, I was a care worker for 3 years, supporting numerous adults with personal and social care needs.

While I aim to make every session bespoke to you, there are a few methods that I find to be universal.
First is Active Recall. While this may sound boring, studies have shown that Active Recall is much more effective not just for exam preparation but also for retaining information over the long term.
I use this, in combination with identifying and building upon areas in which you need support.
My sessions follow a structure which is explained at the beginning of each session, however, this is secondary to the curiosity of learning.
