About Jessica
As a diligent engineering student, I tutor math for grades 6 to 12. Coming from a rigorous academic background growing up in Korea, I knew what it was like to struggle with math when it seemed everyone was light years ahead of me. Finding fun and satisfaction in improving my mathematical skills, I now find joy in helping others understand complex concepts through simplifying the nitty gritty. I aim to make math enjoyable, and a genuine muscle that needs training to grow, inspiring a genuine interest and understanding in each student I teach.

I'm Jessica, a local tutor specializing in math for grades 6-12th grade.
I look to provide personalized guidance that caters to each student's unique needs and strengths, and most of all have fun while learning about math. I believe that when students are excited and have practical usage of their learning, the results naturally follow.
I focus on concrete skills first, then move on to test prep or what the student wants to do. First lessons, we usually go over expectations and the skill level of the student, then dive right into what they're interested in.
